Hi, I’m Tauné — but you can call me Tauny B

I was born and raised in Kimberley, Northern Cape, where my love for storytelling began long before I ever stepped onto a stage. After completing my Drama and Theatre Studies degree at Stellenbosch University, I spent seven beautiful (and sometimes challenging) years in the Western Cape, chasing dreams, growing as an artist, and learning what it means to live authentically in my purpose.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of appearing on some of South Africa’s favourite shows — from St. Worcester and Generations to my current role as Dr. Loren Blue on Skeem Saam. Every project has taught me something new about myself, the craft, and the power of representation.

I’m a performer, presenter, and voice-over artist — but above all, I’m a storyteller at heart. Whether I’m behind the mic, in front of the camera, or connecting with people off-screen, my goal is always the same: to move, inspire, and make people feel seen.
